There can be no mistake that BMW has turned the X6 into a veritable market success. From its humbling market debut where everybody missed the whole point of what it actually was, it has now spawned its own fan base.
But what about the people who think it’s a bit of a Chelsea tractor? Well, they are going to buy the smaller Range Rover Evoque until this arrives. Yes, it’s the BMW X4, rendered for the first time by our dedicated team.
The car clearly combines styling cues from the X3 at the front and the X6 at the back. The platform is a bit longer in the wheelbase to accommodate the passengers inside the new coupe bubble roof shape.
As a production model, the X4 will be 4.65 meters long (183 inches) which is about the same as the F25 X3. The X4 will also inherit the engine range from the regular crossover, and it will be offered with rear-wheel drive.
