Chevrolet has announced that the all-new 2014 Corvette Stingray will make its British debut at the NEC Classic Car Show, UK’s biggest classic car event, this weekend.
The highly-anticipated sportscar will be showcased at the Classic Corvette Club stand, where enthusiasts will be celebrating the Corvette’s 60th anniversary.
“Enthusiasts make up the backbone of the Chevrolet brand, and there’s no single Chevrolet model that attracts more fans all over the world than the Corvette. We’re absolutely delighted to be supporting the Classic Corvette Club at this event as they really are true ambassadors for the car and the Chevrolet brand,” said Rebecca Lawman, Chevrolet head of marketing.
As a reminder, the 2014 Corvette Stingray will go on sale in the UK next year priced from £61,495. The C7 Corvette will hit British dealerships with GM’s new 6.2-liter V8 engine under the hood, which provides 460 HP and 465 lb-ft of torque.
