The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible has been officially introduced at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
The seventh-generation Stingray Convertible finally bowed in Switzerland today, following Chevy's intensive teasing of the car which started last weekend.
We already established the exterior modifications that separate the Coupe from the Convertible, but now we found out that latter weights just as much, since no structural reinforcements were necessary after the Stingray got "chopped".
The biggest piece of news we can give you right now is that the Convertible C7 comes with a fully electronic top, that can be opened or closed while the vehicle is on the move at speeds of up to 30 mph (50 km/h).
Powered by the same 6.2-liter V8 LT1 engine (450 HP), both versions are set to land in showrooms in late August or early September 2013.
