Chevrolet has announced pricing and lease information for the 2014 Spark EV. Priced from $27,495, the city EV can also be had for just $19,995 by customers that qualify for the full $7,500 federal tax credit.
If you’re looking to lease one of these vehicle, Chevrolet says there’s a $999 down payment and $199 per month to be payed for 36 months, which is exactly what Fiat offers for their 500e. However, the Spark EV comes with a “low mileage lease”, which means that drivers will have to pay 25 cents a mile for each mile that exceeds the 12,000 per year mark.
According to Chevrolet, the Spark EV offers a combined city/highway EPA estimated range of 82 miles when fully charged and an combined city/highway 119 MPGe fuel economy equivalent. The car is said to help owners save a monthly $150 in fuel costs.
The Spark EV will be available at Chevrolet dealers throughout California and Oregon beginning mid-June 2013.
