xXx Performance are masters of their trade, taking Audi's R8 from 911 fighter into supercar territory. Fitted with their widebody kits, quattro machines have been chromed, cruised Monaco and even went to the Gumball 3000 rally. However, all have been older model cars. Let's toss those out like a the Sunday Special on a Wednesday and look at this killer 2014 R8 with the LED headlights and widebody goodness added on top... or on the side, if you want to accurate.
Even if you guys just came here for the cool photos, it's perfectly alright with us, since a slammed R8 like this one doesn't come along every. With bold orange graphics over a Nardo Gray body and taken low to the groun on massive whees, this Audi looks like a real-life version of every PS3 racer's dream.
xXx got the stance it wanted from the R8 by using a widebody kit that ads 40mm at the front and 70mm at the back. The car also rolls on massive Schmidt 20-inch wheels with orange spokes and a chromed rim.
After Audi launched the 2014 model year R8 with LED headlights and they are still prominent features of the front end. However, a custom body kit built to order gets rid of any discreetness by adding orange side skirts, rear diffuser and front splitter.
No word on performance yet, but since this R8 has four exhaust pipes, which no model has any more, we can safely guess it's not stock. xXx Performance has already announced a twin-turbo engine kit for the 4.2-liter that increases output from 420 hp to 707 hp. In this case, the 0 to 100 km/h dash is dealt with in just 3.6 seconds and it will reach 300 km/h in 15.8 seconds. Now that's impressive!
