The unveiled their 2013 Verso MPV last year at the Paris Motor Show. It is a heavily modified version of the existing model sold in Europe. The changes are both cosmetic and technical in nature, and thankfully they are important enough to make this a look like a brand new car.
The first commercial for the 2013 Verso is named “My Dad My Hero”. It’s about a the father of two who’s perceived in an exaggerated way thanks to the Verso’s practicality, economy and comfort. Just the kind of thing Toyota needed to push people into their dealerships.
The engine lineup for the new Verso includes a 2.0-liter diesel with 126 PS (124 hp) and a 2.2-liter diesel with either 150 PS (148bhp) or 177 PS (175bhp). There are also two petrol engines, the base 1.6-liter with 132 PS (130bhp) or a 1.8-liter with 147 PS (145bhp).
