The Viper was born with stripes and while Chrysler chose to let us see the generation car without them so far, probably so we can focus on the styling cues better, the company is now giving the supercar what it had to receive from the beginning: its signature stripes.
The adjacent picture, which brings us a red 2013 SRT Viper wearing its white stripes with quite a lot of pride. Customer will also be able to choose the stripes in gunmetal pearl or black. The vehicle you see here was the prototype used for dry tarmac stability control tests, and since this feature is a first for the Viper, this example is a very important one.
Chrysler has upped the ante on the stripes front itself, as the new ones can be found under the clearcoat, which means that they’ll shine more and last longer as the years of ownership go by.
