Last year, the all-new 2013 Lexus GS was unveiled at Pebble Beach, and since then the Japanese automaker has lost some serious ground in the luxury US market. To gain back some momentum, they have started to rely on the strengths they built into the car to gain back favor with customers.
Lexus has promised us that the new GS 350 is sportier and more focused than its predecessor, basically a more exciting car for younger buyers, and to ram their point home they’ve also released this latest promo video called “2013 Lexus GS - Performance Accelerated". This features veteran racer car driver Scott Pruett, who only seems to have praise for how the cars shits, handles and responds.
The 3.5-liter engine that can be considered to be the most sport right now puts out 306 horsepower and sends it to the back via a six-speed sequential shift automatic. Lexus will also offer the F-Sport package that will bring chassis tuning and better handling.
