Ford gave the 2013 model year Flex a bit of a makeover, with extra kit as well. This Range Rover lookalike has finally been priced and the bad news is that the extra kit will set you back extra hard earned money.
The base 2013 Flex SE is now priced from $31,710 including destination, which is $825. This is $1,420 over the 2012 model year.
Under the bonnet is a fresh version of the 3.5-liter V6 engine that’s now fitted with twin independent variable camshaft timing (Ti-VCT). The output of the unit is 285 hp, which is 23 more than the previous version. It’s also supposed to be 1 mpg more frugal though this doesn’t make the Flex a segment leader.
Moving down the range, the 2013 Flex SEL comes with a MSRP from $34,050 including destination. Meanwhile, the range-topping Flex Limited will set you back $40,055, but is actually as well equipped as last year’s Flex Titanium which has been removed from the range.
