Honestly, we really don’t know why they are promoting the all-new Dodge Dart as a fun car before the SRT4 version arrives, but they are. And even thought they are pulling out of NASCAR, their cars haven’t become all about the economy.
So they took Travis Pastrana and put him behind the wheel of a brand new Dart R/T (not available until next year) for some fun in the dirt. Pastrana drives the new rallycross version of this car, so he’s perfect for the job.
However, some of the stunts he pulls off in the perfectly stock Dart should have left it bumperless or with a bottomed out suspension.
Right now, prices start at just under $16,000 for the base model, but the R/T should be well over $20,000.
