Audi of America has recently released the pricing for the 2013 A8 3.0T model, with the standard version of the car starting at $73,095 and the long-wheel base incarnation starting at $79,395.
We are talking about the new entry-level model of the range, which is powered by a supercharged 3.0-liter engine delivering 333 hp. The car is $6,530 less expensive than the model that uses the 4.2-liter FSI (direct-injected) V8 engine, which will be replaced by a fresh V8 unit this fall. Around the same time, the carmaker will bring the V6 TDI diesel engine on the US market for the A8.
