Suzuki never managed to make a splash with the... Splash in Europe, but the car has proven resilient in the Japanese domestic market. That’s why the small automaker has given it a facelift for 2012.
The redesigned car will arrive in Japanese showroom this June, but photos of the car have already appeared on the official Suzuki Japan website.
The main visual change comes via a redesigned bumper with a new grille, elongated fog lamp surrounds. Round the back, the Splash comes with a slightly tweaked taillight assembly graphic. The rear bumper also gets a set of non-functional horizontal grilles.
The Splash is basically a taller city car, developed with Opel, who offer it as the Agila. The engine range is limited to a 1.0-liter three-cylinder and a 1.2-liter.
