The first generation Corvette is one of the cars that proves the theory that cars were prettier ‘in the olden days’. This particular example, a post 1960 model is arguably better looking than the 1956 car, the first ‘Vette, and it is the one most people think of when saying ‘C1 Corvette’.
With its four headlights, very sleek profile and wrap-around windscreen, it is one of the design icons of the 1960. Also, it ditched the finns of the first model, and the designers gave the rear end a more classic, European-almost, ‘ducktail’ design. We saw this stunner at this year’s edition of SEMA, yet it had no spec sheet, to detail what had been done to it.
We did ask around, and found out that it has a suspension lowering kit, which further enhances its stance and low profile, as well as a special paint finish, which not even our HD picture gallery can completely do justice to.
