The 2012 Porsche 911 will show its face to the public at next week's Frankfurt Auto Show, but what if you're an American and can't travel to Europe to see Porsche's fresh rear-engined coupe?
Don't worry, the carmaker has recently announced that the 2012 911 will make its North American debut at the upcoming Rennsport Reunion IV, an event that is scheduled to be held at Laguna Seca Raceway, in Monterrey, California, between October 14 and 16.
Attenders will be able to meet both the entry-level Carrera, as well as the Carrera S version. The first offers a 3.4-liter Boxer engine with 350 hp, while the latter has a 3.8-liter 400 hp flat six. You'll also be able to see the new seven-speed manual, as well as the optional PDK double clutch gearbox.
In case you have serious intentions ,we have to tell you that the car will reach showroom floors in February 2012.
