The first rumors of the German automaker working on a C63 AMG Black Series model began surfacing in late 2010, followed by a set of spyshots that didn’t give very much away some two months ago. The car was supposed to make its debut later this year, but this morning we got the chance to grab the first photos of the car, courtesy of SpeedFans.fr.

Automakers have been forced to show their latest creations earlier than scheduled due to leaked photos, so the same thing happening with this car comes as no surprise to us.

The adjacent images showing the new C63 AMG Black Series Coupe were taken during a test event at Circuit Paul Ricard in one of the garages there, despite the fact that Mercedes had no intention of making the car a supermodel for the cameras yet.

It's rumored that it will be powered by a more powerful version of the 6.2-liter V8 unit in the C63,with around 517 horsepower and 472 lb.ft. (640 Nm) of torque.

As we saw happening with previous Black Series models - CLK and SL - the C63 Black aggressive styling features and it is also the first Black Series to offer four functional rear seats. The car seen here is painted red, but as with previous cars, the color range could be limited to basics like black, white, and silver, and red coming as the only flashy option.

The new C63 AMG Black Series is expected to go on sale this November in Germany for under EUR100,000, and from 2012 in the rest of world. However, we’ll have to wait for the official unveiling of the car to find out more technical and logistics details.
