The “all-new” (it’s actually a bit of a facelift) version of the RS4 Avant is now available for order in the UK, with prices starting at £54,925 OTR, with deliveries scheduled to begin this autumn.
Right now, the RS4 is only sold in the Avant wagon body style, powered by a tuned 4.2-liter V8 developing 444bhp (450 PS) at a screaming 8,250 rpm and peak torque of 317 lb-ft (430Nm) between 4,000 and 6,000 rpm.
The standard car gets S tronic automated gearbox, which means that you’ll get from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.7 seconds. As with most fast German cars, top speed is governed and as such you can only do 155 mph (250km/h).
The car comes as standard with disk brakes all round, followed by 19-inch wheels, sports seats cruise control and satellite navigation.
