2011 Ford Explorer Gets Virtual Makeover

One of the heroes that is ready to fight the competition in order to take Ford to new heights is the all-new 2011 Explorer. The American carmaker has big plans for the vehicle, placing it on the podium of its new development strategy.

Today, we are here to show you a virtual tuning project based on the Explorer, wit the creation coming from a deviantart user nicknamed galantaigeri. To say that this custom project comes with a flashy image would be an understatement. However, the vehicle manages to avoid showing a lottery winner-designed image.

The SUV uses a custom black finish that offers it a menacing look. The vehicle’s front end has been gifted with a hood that uses a window which allows us to see the engine (the engine cover comes in a red finish), a set of red lights placed at the lower part of the massive front grille, as well as a modified bumper. The front apron comes with a sleek design, using a chromed finish for the mid-sized air intake and housing a set of fog lamps.

Moving to the sides, we find a decal that creates a connection between the vehicle and the poker world. The SUV rides on generously-sized custom rims that use a multi-spoke design. The wheels come with a silver finish, polished lips and red center elements.

The vehicle has also received a lowering suspension that offers it a new visual identity. Ok, this kills any off-road abilities, but the car now offers the driver a higher level of confidence through the bends.
