2011 BIO International Convention Coming

Biofuels are one of the most important topics in the contemporary automotive world and this will be the subject of the upcoming 2011 BIO International Convention, an event that will see multiple big names analyzing the biotechnology advancements.

The Convention, which will be hosted by the Biotechnology Industry Organization, will take place between June 27 and 30 in Washington D.C. at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. It will include multiple sessions that will focus on important global industrial and environmental issues from the research and development of advanced biofuels to cutting greenhouse gas emissions.

The educational breakout sessions will see industry leading CEOs, researchers, as well as academics cover a large number of global bio-related technology issues, such as biofuels, bio-based products, algae, synthetic biology, dual-use energy crops, bioenergy centers and renewable chemicals.
