2010 Suzuki Swift to Be Previewed in Saudi Arabia

The first preview of how the 2010 Suzuki Swift model will look like is scheduled to take place in December at the 2009 Jeddah Motor Show, Suzuki Saudia, the sole distributor of Suzuki vehicles in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and part of Bamarouf Group, announced today.

The model is said to have features such as Auto A/C, keyless start engine system, Alcantara seats and silver colored front speaker bezels. As for the interior, the company says it will boast a redesigned dashboard, spacious front seats and comfortable back seat riding. Exterior features include chromed front grills, door mirrors built-in turn signal lamps electrically adjustable and folding, in addition to the smart key.

“The launch of the 2010 Suzuki Swift complements the Kingdom's increasing consumer demand for an efficient high-quality car that is easy to maintain and operate. This limited edition Swift model has been redesigned with key features to enhance its comfort, look, safety and overall performance, which we believe will further boost its popularity in the Kingdom,” said Maher Al Nabawi, Deputy General Manager, Suzuki Saudia.

“Moreover, the introduction of the new Swift model complements our continuing efforts to increase our share in the Kingdom's automotive market and to strengthen our partnership with Suzuki. The growing interest for Suzuki models in the Kingdom is proof of our consistency to meet market demands and the good reputation we have built in KSA's automotive sector,” he added.

Some four months ago, we were presenting you with a number of spyshots of the 2010 Suzuki Swift. We were then telling you the future Swift will come with both petrol and diesel units, but their displacement is yet to be revealed. Hopefully, the 2009 Jeddah Motor Show will unveil further details of the car, ahead of its official launch, expected to take place at the 2010 Paris Motor Show.
