We’ve all seen what happens when twin-turbo Gallardos take part in drag racing events. They usually take over the show. Nonetheless, we can’t be hypocrites and pretend we don’t know owners decide to unleash these cars on public roads from time to time.
The latest example of this comes from the adjacent video, which shown a Gallardo that has gone deep into Underground Racing tuner’s territory and has returned with an inadvisable appetite for proving its point on the street.
This is one of those extreme examples of a twin-turbocharged Gallardo, with the car pushing 1,900 hp through its all-wheel drive system, with NOS being a part of the equation.
Throw a look inside and you’ll notice a sea of carbon fiber - for instance, the seats could very well be fitted into a race car. In the quest to get the most out of the monster muscle of the V10 engine, the owner also put the car on a diet.
The clip below, which comes from ThatRacingChannel, shows us the Raging Bull driving along at 70 mph (113 km/h) with its upgraded e-gear transmission in third gear. Then the madness begins - fourth gear arrives at 115 mph (185 km/h), while fifth comes at 150 mph (241.5 km/h). From this point on, the driver keeps on mashing the throttle until the speedometer needle climbs to 180 mph (290 km/h).
The hooning takes place on an interstate, at night and the way in which the Lambo passed vehicles on the left lane demonstrates why you shouldn’t try this at home.
