YAMAHA Stratoliner S (2013-2014) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2013, the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer launched the Yamaha Stratoliner S, a touring machine that debuted in 2006 and was manufactured until 2017. The bike was delivered in a classic package with modern technology.

As standard, the bike was fitted with features such as a classic-style round headlight with a chromed housing, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank with an integrated instrument panel, a two-piece dual seat with a low riding position, a wide handlebar pulled back towards the rider, and a stylish chromed two-into-one exhaust system.

Besides its standard equipment, the bike also featured touring-oriented accessories, including a passenger backrest for additional comfort, side-mounted leather-wrapped panniers for extra storage, and a quick-detachable windscreen for better wind and weather protection.

The bike's handling was softened by a 46 mm telescopic fork on the front with 135 mm wheel travel and a link-type spring preload-adjustable shock absorber on the rear with 110 mm wheel travel.

In the braking department, the 2013 Yamaha Stratoliner S packed four-piston calipers with two 298 mm discs on the front and a single-piston caliper with a 320 mm disc on the rear, delivering excellent stopping power.

The bike's power was delivered by a 1,854cc four-stroke V-twin air-cooled engine fed by an electronically controlled fuel injection system, boasting 99 hp at 4,250 rpm and 167 Nm (123 lb-ft) torque at 2,250 rpm.

The 2013 Yamaha Stratoliner S was for sale in 2023, for a price ranging between $8,000 and $17,000, depending on its condition.
