The MV Agusta F4 Mamba is a limited edition sport bike which will be made in just 300 units. The bike's furious acceleration was compared to the fast attack of the African venomous snake nicknamed the Black Mamba. Each model in the series comes with a black snake painted on the fuel tank. The whole bike was a blaze of carbon fiber, a material that could be found in the bodywork, in the airbox, in the fuel manifold and in a bag of other secondary components (some of which are offered as optional extras by the wealthy customers). On the front mudguard, also in fiber, the Mamba logo stood out: a black snake with its jaws wide open, ready to grab the prey.
The 166 HP of the 998 cc four-cylinder engine allowed the F4 Mamba to exceed 300 km/h, a speed that made it one of the bikes on the market with the highest top speed. In particular, the MV Agusta test driver Fabrizio Latini managed to push it up to the Ring of Nardò up to 301 km h.
