The 1977 MY Laverda 1000 Jota sports an air-cooled, four-stroke, 981cc, transverse three cylinder engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission and can produce 97 horsepower and 90 Nm of torque. It has been designed to compete with the liter-class Japanese machines in the superbike sector, and it does not disappoint, either.
It comes standard with a telescopic fork, five-way adjustable dual shock absorbers as a rear suspension, dual 280 mm brake discs in the front and a single 280 mm one in the rear. In addition, it has a sporty riding position, similar to racing motorcycles.
