HYOSUNG RX125 (2007-2008) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2007, the South Korean motorcycle maker released the Hyosung RX125, a small displacement motorcycle best suited for beginner riders who wanted to take their first step into off-road motorcycling and for more experienced riders who preferred a more agile machine.

Hyosung was a South Korean motorcycle manufacturer founded in 1978. It was a division of the Hyosung Group of Industries. In 1979, Hyosung started manufacturing Japanese Suzuki motorcycle designs.

The 2007 model year was the tenth consecutive production year. It was the same shape and form as the previous one, delivering the same characteristics without any modifications whatsoever.

The RX125 was manufactured from 1998 until 2009 and sold in many countries, such as Asia, North America, Europe, and Oceania. In Brazil, it was assembled from CKD kits by Kasinski Motos and renamed a Kasinski product.

Aesthetically, the bike was fitted with standard features, such as a high-mounted front mudguard, a rectangular headlight integrated into a small cowl, a one-piece dual seat, an engine protective cover, and wire-spoke wheels with mixed tires.

In the power department, the 2007 Hyosung RX125 had installed a 124cc four-stroke air-cooled single-cylinder engine at its core, boasting 12 hp at 10,300 rpm and 10 Nm (7 lb-ft) torque at 7,500 rpm.

For suspension, the motorcycle used an inverted telescopic fork on the front with 250 mm wheel travel and a dual-sided swingarm tied to a single shock absorber on the rear with 200 mm of travel.
