In 2013, Husqvarna introduced the Nuda 900R, a naked motorcycle that debuted in 2012. Compared to the standard version, the "R" model packed higher-quality front brakes, a fully adjustable chassis, a different seat, red side panels instead of black, and carbon application on the silencer.

The Husqvarna Nuda 900 was a naked bike manufactured by Husqvarna from 2012 to 2013 in Varese, Italy. The motorcycle was developed in collaboration with BMW Motorrad, as the Swedish brand was bought by BMW AG in 2007.

The Nuda motorcycle was offered in two versions: the Nuda 900 standard machine and the Nuda 900R with higher quality features. The Nuda 900 was powered by a two-cylinder engine borrowed from the BMW F800 series placed into a modified steel frame of the F800GS.

In addition, the motorcycle's shorter gear ratio provided better acceleration and response but reduced the top speed by 8 kph (5 mph), from 225 kph (139 mph) to 217 kph (135 mph).

For suspension, the motorcycle was fitted with a 48 mm adjustable inverted telescopic fork on the front with 210 mm of travel and an adjustable Ohlins shock absorber on the rear with 180 mm of travel.

Brembo components achieved the braking power, such as two 320 mm discs with four-piston calipers mounted on the front and a single 240 mm disc with a hydraulic caliper on the rear.

As for power, the 2013 Husqvarna Nuda 900R had installed an 898cc four-stroke twin-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that delivered 103 hp at 8,500 rpm and 100 Nm (74 lb-ft) torque at 7,000 rpm.
