Husqvarna Group was a Swedish manufacturer of outdoor power products, including chainsaws, brush cutters, robotic lawnmowers, trimmers, cultivators, garden tractors, and motorcycles. The company was founded in 1689 as a firearm manufacturer and was one of the oldest continuously running companies in the world.

In 2017, the Swedish motorcycle maker released the Husqvarna FS 450, a motorcycle fitted with the most powerful engine ever developed by the brand. It features updates and top-of-the-line engine management and design.

The 2017 model came with new developments, which included an all-new WP AER 48 mm front fork, a CNC-machined upper triple clamp, a new handlebar, aluminum engine mounts, a handlebar-mounted switch with selectable mappings and launch control, EMS with traction control, and new color trim and graphics.

The visual department was characterized by features like a high-mounted front fender, a single seat, a single exhaust system with a muffler mounted high on the right-hand side, and wire-spoke wheels with track tires.

The bike was built around a powder-coated chrome-molybdenum tubular steel frame. The front has a 48 mm WP AER inverted fork with 285 mm of travel, and the rear has a WP shock absorber with 266 mm wheel travel.

The 2017 Husqvarna FS 450 had installed a 449cc four-stroke single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine at its core. The engine delivered 63 hp, sent to the rear end through a five-speed gearbox and a final chain drive.
