In 2003, the Swedish motorcycle maker released the Husqvarna CR 250, a quarter-liter motocross motorcycle that debuted in 1973. Over its production period, the bike received several upgrades and modifications.

The 2003 model came with the same package as previous models, featuring the same visual, technical, and performance specifications without any modifications whatsoever.

For suspension, the motorcycle packed a 45 mm inverted Marzocchi telescopic fork on the front and a progressive Sachs monoshock on the rear, delivering optimum suspension performance and handling capabilities.

In 2002, the Swedish motorcycle maker released the Husqvarna CR 250, a quarter-liter motocross motorcycle that debuted in 1973. Over its production period, the bike received several upgrades and modifications.

In 1984, the bike went from an air-cooled to a water-cooled engine, in 1985 it used a Monocross linkage system instead of a Doublecross system and a brake disc on the front, and in 1989 it received a brake disc on the rear.

The engine size was increased in 1987 and again in 1999. In 1989, the bike came with a new inverted fork on the front and a Husqvarna Torque System (HTS) exhaust system. In 2000, the bike had a new look with a reduced size, while 2005 was the last production year.
