Husqvarna was a Swedish manufacturer of outdoor power products, such as lawnmowers, chainsaws, trimmers, brush cutters, cultivators, garden tractors, and, why not, motorcycles.

The Husqvarna WRE was an off-road motorcycle manufactured from 1994 until 2013. It was powered by a 125cc engine and intended only for off-road use, not competitive use.

In 2003, the Swedish maker released the Husqvarna WRE 125, an off-road motorcycle that debuted in 1994. It packed the same performance, technical, and visual characteristics as the previous one without any modifications.

The bike's aesthetic department was complemented by standard features, such as wire-spoke wheels with off-road rubbers, a high-mounted front fender, a small rectangular headlight integrated into a small cowl, a single seat, and a high-mounted exhaust system.

The bike's steel frame housed the suspension system, which consisted of an inverted Marzocchi telescopic fork on the front and a Sachs progressive shock absorber on the rear. This provided optimum suspension performance and handling capabilities.

The braking system consisted of a race-inspired Brembo system with a single disc on each wheel, improving performance and making it safer.

In the power department, the 2003 Husqvarna WRE 125 got its muscles from a 124cc two-stroke liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine mounted at its core. It boasted 15 hp at 10,500 rpm and was managed by a Dell'Orto carburetor and a six-speed gearbox that sent the power to the rear via a final chain drive.
