HUSQVARNA TC 510 (2005-2006) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2005, the Swedish motorcycle maker released the Husqvarna TC 510, a half-liter off-road motorcycle designed for motocross fans seeking a powerful single-cylinder machine.

Husqvarna was a Swedish manufacturer of outdoor power products, such as lawnmowers, chainsaws, trimmers, brush cutters, cultivators, garden tractors, and, why not, motorcycles. It was founded in 1689 as a firearm manufacturer and was one of the oldest continuously running companies in the world.

It was visually similar to other TC models, packing features like a single-seat, a high-mounted front fender, a single-exhaust system with a muffler mounted high on the right-hand side, an engine protective plate, and wire-spoke wheels with off-road tires.

The suspension performance was handled by a 45 mm adjustable Marzocchi inverted fork on the front end with 300 mm travel and an adjustable Sachs shock absorber on the rear with 320 mm of travel.

The bike's wheels were fitted with a 260 mm brake disc on the front and a 240 mm brake disc on the rear, offering excellent stopping power. Both discs were clamped by hydraulic calipers.

The 2005 Husqvarna TC 510 was powered by a 501cc four-stroke liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine managed by a 41 mm Keihin carburetor. The power was sent to the rear end through a six-speed gearbox and a chain drive.
