HUSQVARNA SMR 630 (2010-2011) Specs, Performance & Photos

Husqvarna was a Swedish manufacturer of outdoor products, such as chainsaws, robotic lawnmowers, trimmers, brush cutters, cultivators, garden tractors, and, why not, motorcycles.

In 2011, Husqvarna released the Husqvarna SMR 630, a motorcycle built on the success of the SM610 model. It had a sharper new look and an upgraded engine that featured twin camshafts for better efficiency, breathing through a new twin exhaust system.

Inspired by the design of the SM610 model, the SMR 630 was completely renewed in terms of performance and handling. Also, the bodywork was all new, giving it a more aggressive and streamlined appearance.

Some new features included the redesigned seat, fuel tank, side panels, air ducts, and front and rear mudguards. The rider and passenger seats had dual-density padding for extra comfort and two convenient grab handles for a safer and more comfortable riding experience.

The bike was made around a steel and aluminum frame that housed the suspension system, which consisted of a 45 mm inverted Marzocchi fork on the front with 250 mm travel and a single Sachs shock absorber on the rear with 290 mm of travel.

The 2011 Husqvarna SMR 630 had installed a 600cc four-stroke single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine at its core, fed by an Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) system and assisted by a six-speed gearbox with a final chain drive.
