HUSQVARNA SM 630 (2010-2011) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2010, the Swedish motorcycle maker released the Husqvarna SM 630, one of the most powerful supermotards available on the market at the time. It had a redesigned engine and frame.

In addition, the motorcycle packed a completely new bodywork that offered a streamlined and aggressive appearance. It featured a new fuel tank, side panels, front and rear fenders, double-depth foam on the seat that provided better comfort for the rider and passenger, and two specially designed passenger handles.

Some additional features included a Kokusan 360W three-phase ignition flywheel, a water temperature sensor placed on the head, and a new impeller and pump body for the cooling system.

Husqvarna Group was a Swedish manufacturer of outdoor power products, including chainsaws, brush cutters, robotic lawnmowers, trimmers, cultivators, garden tractors, and motorcycles. The company was founded in 1689 as a firearm manufacturer and was one of the oldest continuously running companies in the world.

The suspension system comprised a 45 mm Marzocchi inverted and adjustable telescopic fork on the front with 250 mm of travel and an adjustable Sachs shock absorber on the rear with 290 mm of travel.

As for power, the 2010 Husqvarna SM 630 had installed a 600cc four-stroke single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine at its core, managed by an Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) system and assisted by a six-speed gearbox.
