HUSQVARNA FC 250 (2017-Present) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2017, the Swedish manufacturer released the Husqvarna FC 250, an off-road motorcycle in its fourth year of production. The bike's engine was designed to work perfectly with the chassis, and all of its internals were engineered to deliver maximum performance.

Husqvarna was a Swedish manufacturer of outdoor power products, such as lawnmowers, chainsaws, trimmers, brush cutters, cultivators, garden tractors, and, why not, motorcycles. The company was founded in 1689 as a firearm manufacturer and was one of the oldest continuously running companies in the world.

The bike's aesthetic department remained largely unchanged from previous models, featuring standard fittings like a single seat, a single exhaust system with a muffler mounted high on the right-hand side, hand guards, and wire-spoke wheels with off-road tires.

The suspension system comprised a 48 mm WP upside-down telescopic fork on the front with 300 mm of travel and a dual-sided aluminum swingarm tied to a WP shock on the rear with 300 mm of travel.

The braking power was achieved by a 260 mm brake rotor mounted on the 21-inch front wheel, clamped by a dual-piston Brembo caliper, and a 220 mm brake disc with a single-piston Brembo caliper on the rear wheel.

As for power, the 2017 Husqvarna FC 250's soul was brought to life by a 249cc four-stroke liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that delivered 46 hp at 14,000 rpm. The engine was fed by an Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) system and delivered the power to the rear end via a five-speed gearbox and a chain drive.
