HUSQVARNA CR 125 (2011-2012) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2011, the Swedish motorcycle maker Husqvarna released the Husqvarna CR 125, a small-displacement entry-level motocross machine. The bike was designed for younger, less experienced riders as well as more experienced ones.

The 2011 motorcycle remained unchanged from the previous one, delivering the same visual, performance, and technical characteristics without any significant modifications whatsoever.

The Husqvarna CR was a series of motocross motorcycles manufactured by the Swedish company since 1972. In addition, the CR models were available in various displacements, such as 50, 65, 125, 250, 360, 390, 400, and 430cc.

For suspension, the motorcycle packed a 45 mm inverted Marzocchi telescopic fork on the front and a progressive Sachs monoshock on the rear, delivering optimum suspension performance and handling capabilities.

As for the stopping power, the motorcycle's wheels were fitted with a 260 mm brake disc on the front and a 220 mm brake disc on the rear. The front was clamped by a dual-piston caliper, and the rear by a single-piston caliper.

Visually, the bike was similar to the previous model, packing standard fittings like a high-mounted front fender, a single seat, a single exhaust system with a small muffler mounted high on the right-hand side, a dual-sided swingarm, and wire-spoke wheels with off-road tires.

In the performance department, the 2011 Husqvarna CR 125's heartbeat was set by a 124cc liquid-cooled two-stroke single-cylinder engine installed underneath its fuel tank that delivered 37 hp at 11,680 rpm.
