HUSQVARNA CR 125 (2008-2009) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2008, the Swedish motorcycle maker released the Husqvarna CR 125, a small-displacement off-road motorcycle that received a new look in 2006, changing its overall size.

In every other departments, the 2008 model was identical to previous models, featuring the same specifications without any modifications whatsoever.

The Husqvarna CR was a series of motocross motorcycles manufactured by the Swedish company since 1972. In addition, the CR models were available in various displacements, such as 50, 65, 125, 250, 360, 390, 400, and 430cc.

In the visual department, the bike had standard features, such as a high-mounted front fender, a single seat, a single exhaust system with a small muffler mounted high on the right-hand side, a dual-sided swingarm, and wire-spoke wheels with off-road tires.

Regarding power, the 2008 Husqvarna CR 125's muscles came from a 124cc liquid-cooled two-stroke single-cylinder engine mounted at its core. The engine delivered 37 hp, peaking at 11,680 rpm.

For suspension, the motorcycle packed a 45 mm inverted Marzocchi telescopic fork on the front and a progressive Sachs monoshock on the rear, delivering optimum suspension performance and handling capabilities.

As for the stopping power, the motorcycle's wheels were fitted with a 260 mm brake disc on the front and a 220 mm brake disc on the rear. The front was clamped by a dual-piston caliper and the rear by a single-piston caliper.
