HUSABERG FS650e (2005-2008) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2005, the Swedish motorcycle manufacturer released the Husaberg FS650e, a more road-oriented machine. It was powered by a 644cc four-stroke engine and rolled on 17-inch wire-spoke wheels with on-road tires.

Husaberg was an enduro motorcycle manufacturer powered by four and two-stroke engines with displacements ranging from 125 to 650cc. Based in Sweden, the motorcycles were later manufactured in Austria by KTM until 2014, when the line was dropped from production.

The Swedish motorcycle manufacturer Husaberg was known for its enduro and Supermoto motorcycles, powered by big-cube, single-cylinder, highly tuned four-stroke engines, and race-oriented design.

The 2005 model was fitted with standard features, such as a single seat, a high-mounted front fender, a small cowl with a rectangular headlight upfront, a single exhaust system with a silencer mounted high on the left-hand side, and wire-spoke wheels with road tires.

At its core, the 2005 Husaberg FS650e had installed a 644cc four-stroke liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine managed by a CVR 32 Keihin carburetor assisted by a six-speed manual gearbox and a final chain drive.

The motorcycle's suspension consisted of a WP USD 4860 MA telescopic fork on the front and a WP PDS 5018 MCC shock absorber on the rear, which provided optimum suspension and handling.

A 260 mm brake disc mounted on the front wheel and a 220 mm brake disc mounted on the rear wheel achieved the braking power.
