HUSABERG FE650e (2002-2008) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2002, the Swedish bike maker released the Husaberg FE650e, an off-road-oriented motorcycle powered by a 628cc four-stroke engine. The bike rolled on 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wire-spoke wheels with off-road tires.

The Swedish motorcycle manufacturer Husaberg was known for its enduro and Supermoto motorcycles, powered by big-cube, single-cylinder, highly tuned four-stroke engines, and race-oriented design.

Husaberg was an enduro motorcycle manufacturer powered by four and two-stroke engines with displacements ranging from 125 to 650cc. Based in Sweden, the motorcycles were later manufactured in Austria by KTM until 2014, when the line was dropped from production.

The bike's visual department was characterized by standard features, such as wire-spoke wheels shod with off-road tires, a single exhaust system with a high-mounted silencer, a single seat, a high-mounted front fender, hand guards, and a small cowl with a square headlight upfront.

Power-wise, the 2002 Husaberg FE650e got its muscles from a 628cc four-stroke liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine managed by a Keihin MX FCR 39 TPS carburetor and a six-speed manual transmission with a final chain drive.

The front suspension was handled by a WP USD 4860 MA telescopic fork, while the rear suspension was handled by a WP PDS 5018 MCC shock absorber.

The braking power was achieved by a 260 mm stainless steel with a two-piston Brembo caliper on the front and a 220 mm stainless steel singe-piston Brembo caliper on the rear.
