HUSABERG FE550e (2005-2008) Specs, Performance & Photos

Husaberg was an enduro motorcycle manufacturer powered by four and two-stroke engines with displacements ranging from 125 to 650cc. Based in Sweden, the motorcycles were later manufactured in Austria by KTM until 2014, when the line was dropped from production.

The Swedish motorcycle manufacturer Husaberg was known for its enduro and Supermoto motorcycles, powered by big-cube, single-cylinder, highly tuned four-stroke engines, and race-oriented design.

In 2005, the Swedish motorcycle manufacturer released the Husaberg FE550e, an enduro motorcycle with more off-road-oriented capabilities powered by a 550cc four-stroke engine.

The bike's suspension system comprised a WP USD 4860 MA Telescopic fork on the front with 295 mm of travel and a WP PDS 5018 shock absorber on the rear with 320 mm wheel travel, offering excellent suspension performance and handling capabilities.

Brembo brakes kept the bike safe. On the front, a 260 mm stainless steel brake disc clamped by a two-piston caliper, and on the rear, a 220 mm stainless steel brake disc tied to a single-piston caliper provided excellent braking power.

Regarding power, the 2005 Husaberg FE550e had installed a 550cc four-stroke single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine at its core. It was managed by a Keihin carburetor and assisted by a six-speed gearbox.

The visual department was characterized by features such as a high-mounted front fender, a single seat, a dual-sided swingarm, a small rectangular headlight integrated into a small cowl, and wire-spoke wheels with off-road tires.
