HUSABERG FE450e (2004-2010) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2004, the Swedish motorcycle manufacturer released the Husaberg FE450e, an enduro motorcycle. Like its sister, it benefited from a four-stroke single-cylinder engine. It rolled on 21-inch front and 18-inch rear wire-spoke wheels with off-road tires.

Husaberg was an enduro motorcycle manufacturer powered by four and two-stroke engines with displacements ranging from 125 to 650cc. Based in Sweden, the motorcycles were later manufactured in Austria by KTM until 2014, when the line was dropped from production.

The Swedish motorcycle manufacturer Husaberg was known for its enduro and Supermoto motorcycles, powered by big-cube, single-cylinder, highly tuned four-stroke engines, and race-oriented design.

The bike's suspension system comprised a WP USD 4860 MA telescopic fork on the front with 295 mm of travel and a WP PDS 5018 shock absorber on the rear with 320 mm wheel travel.

In the braking department, the motorcycle had a 260 mm brake disc with a two-piston caliper on the front and a 220 mm brake disc with a single-piston caliper mounted on the rear wheel.

For the power figures, the 2004 Husaberg FE450e had a 450cc four-stroke single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine at its core, boasting 48 hp with a peak at 6,400 rpm and 48 Nm (35 lb-ft) torque at 6,647 rpm.

The power was crafted by a six-speed manual gearbox and sent to the rear axle via a final chain drive.
