HOREX VR6 Cafe Racer (2016-Present) Specs, Performance & Photos

The Horex VR was a naked motorcycle manufactured by Horex GmbH from 2012 to 2014 and by Horex Motorcycles GmbH since 2016. The Horex Motorcycles GmbH was a subsidiary of 3C-Carbon Group AG.

The bike was presented in 2010 at a press conference, and the company announced that production would start at the end of 2011. German designer Peter Naumann designed the machine, which was priced at over $21.450.

In 2016, the German motorcycle maker introduced the Horex VR6 Cafe Racer, a serial model that followed the unveiling of the exclusive special model, Horex VR6 Black Edition. The bike featured quality characteristics and was designed to make a statement.

The bike's visual department was characterized by standard features such as a round LED headlight up front, a single seat with a passenger seat cover, a six-into-two blacked-out exhaust system with two silencers mounted on the right-hand side, a side stand, and wire-spoke wheels.

Regarding power, the 2016 Horex VR6 Cafe Racer had installed a 1,218cc liquid-cooled six-cylinder engine at its core, boasting 160 hp at 8,500 rpm and 138 Nm (102 lb-ft) torque at 7,000 rpm.

The engine was fed by a multipoint injection system and assisted by a six-speed manual transmission, which sent the power to the rear end via a final chain drive.
