HONDA VT750 Shadow ACE (2002-2003) Specs, Performance & Photos

The Honda Shadow was a range of cruiser motorcycles manufactured by Honda since 1983, comprising models with different engine displacements and designations. The line comprised models powered by a V-twin engine with displacement ranging from 125 to 1,100cc.

In 2002, the Japanese manufacturer released the Honda VT750 Shadow ACE, where its designation was denoted (America Classic Edition). It was a middleweight cruiser that came in the same shape and form as the previous one without any modifications whatsoever.

The 2002 Honda VT750 Shadow ACE was set in motion by a 745cc four-stroke liquid-cooled V-twin engine that delivered 45 hp with maximum strength at 5,500 rpm and 62 Nm (46 lb-ft) torque at 3,000 rpm.

For suspension, the cruiser machine packed a 41 mm telescopic fork on the front with 140 mm of travel and two side-mounted five-position preload-adjustable shock absorbers on the rear with 90 mm of travel.

For safety, the wheels were fitted with a 296 mm brake disc on the front wheel, clamped by a twin-piston caliper, and a drum braking unit on the rear, offering optimum braking performance.

In the visual department, the motorcycle was characterized by standard features, like a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a two-piece dual seat, a round headlight with a chromed housing, a chromed two-into-one exhaust system, and wire-spoke wheels with fat tires.
