HONDA Shadow VT750RS (2012-2013) Specs, Performance & Photos

The Honda Shadow VT750RS was a roadster version of the Shadow 750 model with a final chain drive. The VT750RS (Retro Standard) was for the North American market, while the bike was named VT750S for the home market. In addition, the home market version was also exported to Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.

In 2012, the Japanese maker released the Honda Shadow VT750RS, a roaster version of the Shadow 750 model. It was in the third consecutive production year and packed the same technical, visual, and performance specifications as previous ones without modifications, except for color alterations.

The bike's suspension comprised a 41 mm fork with 130 mm of travel on the front and two five-position spring preload-adjustable shock absorbers with 90 mm of travel on the rear, offering optimum handling capabilities.

The braking power was handled by a single 296 mm brake rotor clamped by a dual-piston caliper on the front and a single 180 mm drum braking unit on the rear.

The 2012 Honda Shadow VT750RS was powered by a 745cc four-stroke V-twin water-cooled engine that delivered a power output of 43 hp at 5,500 rpm and 61 Nm (44 lb-ft) torque at 3,000 rpm.

As for the aesthetic department, the bike had standard fittings like a small round headlight upfront, a raked-out front fork, a teardrop-styled fuel tank, a one-piece dual seat, side-mounted rear shocks, and wire-spoke wheels.
