HONDA PC 800 Pacific Coast 1989-1998

The Honda PC 800 Pacific Coast was a touring motorcycle produced and marketed by Honda from 1989 to 1998. The bike was named after California's Pacific Coast Highway, and with a three-year interruption between two production runs, Honda sold over 14,000 units In Japan, Europe, and North America.

The bike's notable features included the single integrated rear trunk that covered the rear wheel, the full bodywork, and a distinctive two-tone color scheme. Like other Honda motorcycles, namely (earlier) Honda Goldwing and (later) Honda Rune, the Pacific Coast touring motorcycle was designed especially for the American market.

In 1989, the Japanese motorcycle maker launched the Honda PC 800 Pacific Coast, a touring machine kept in production for over nine years. The bike appeared in several movies such as "Harley-Davidson and the Marlboro Man," Back to the Future," and "The Bourne Identity."

The motorcycle's aesthetic department was characterized by a full bodywork, a single headlight unit, a tall windscreen, a two-piece dual seat with pillion grab rails, a two-tone paint scheme, and five-spoke aluminum alloy wheels.

Regarding performance, the 1980 Honda PC 800 Pacific Coast had its soul brought to life by a 798cc four-stroke V-twin liquid-cooled engine managed by two Keihin carburetors, boasting 57 hp with a peak force at 6,500 rpm and 65 Nm (48 lb-ft) torque at 5,500 rpm.
