HONDA DN-01 (2008-2009) Specs, Performance & Photos

The Honda DN-01 was a cruiser motorcycle manufactured by Honda from 2008 to 2010. The bike was presented at the 2005 Tokyo Motor Show and released into the market in 2008 in Japan and in 2009 in the American Market. It was discontinued at the end of 2010.

In addition to the Honda VFR1200F, CTX700, NC700/750, 2018 Goldwing, NM4, Yamaha FJR1300AE, and Aprilia Mana 850, the DN-01 was also delivered with an automatic transmission.

In 2008, the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer introduced the Honda DN-01, a cruiser motorcycle fitted with an automatic transmission with two ride modes, "D" drive and "S" sport, and a six-speed push-button for manual mode.

The bike's appearance was characterized by standard features, such as a half fairing with an aggressive shark-looking design, a small windscreen, a two-piece dual seat, dual headlights, rider floorboards, and ten-spoke alloy wheels.

Power-wise, the 2008 Honda DN-01 had its soul brought to life by a 680cc four-stroke V-twin liquid-cooled engine, boasting 61 hp at 7,500 rpm and 64 Nm (47 lb-ft) torque at 6,000 rpm, pushing the cruiser to a top speed of 183 kph (114 mph).

The bike was kept on the safe side by two 296 mm brake discs mounted on the front wheel and a 276 mm brake disc on the rear wheel. The front was clamped to three-piston calipers, while the rear was tied to a dual-piston caliper.
