HONDA CTX1300 (2014-2014) Specs, Performance & Photos

The Honda CTX1300 was a cruiser motorcycle that debuted in 2014. It was powered by a longitudinally mounted V4 engine and set in motion by a shaft drive. The CTX1300 replaced the Honda ST1300, also known as the Pan-European, which ended production in 2012.

The CTX1300 was announced in November 2013 and launched in 2014. It used a modified ST1300 engine for better fuel economy and more torque at lower rpm. The CTX1300 had a North American theme, comprised of a half fairing, a pulled-back handlebar, and bagger styling.

In addition, the Honda CTX1300 was available in standard and Deluxe versions. The Deluxe model had additional features such as Traction Control, ABS, and Bluetooth.

The motorcycle had standard features in the aesthetic department, such as a half fairing with a small windscreen, a pulled-back handlebar, a one-piece dual seat with passenger grab rails, side-mounted hard panniers, a dual exhaust system with a chromed silencer on each side, and ten-spoke aluminum alloy wheels.

For suspension, the bike packed a 45 mm inverted telescopic fork on the front end and two rear shocks with spring preload adjustability. As for the braking power, the wheels were fitted with two 310 mm brake discs on the front and a 315 mm brake disc on the rear.

Regarding power, the 2014 Honda CTX1300 had installed a 1,261cc four-stroke liquid-cooled V-4 engine at its core, boasting 83 hp at 6,000 rpm and 106 Nm (78 lb-ft) torque at 4,500 rpm.
