The Honda CRF was a series of four-stroke trail, motocross, and dual-sports motorcycles manufactured by Honda since 2010 as a successor to the Honda CR series. The CRF line comprised several versions with different displacements and designations.
In 2014, the maker introduced the CRF-X series comprising the CRF250X and CRF450X. The bikes were fitted with electric start and were still considered race bikes with more off-road capabilities than motocross.
In 2014, the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer launched the Honda CRF250X, a quarter-liter motorcycle with off-road capabilities. In 2006, 2007, and 2008, Robby Bell won the San Felipe 250 competition.
The bike's aesthetic department was characterized by standard features, such as a high-mounted front fender, a single seat, small side fairings, an under-seat exhaust system, a muffler cover, and wire-spoke wheels shod with off-road tires.
In the braking department, the motorcycle's wire-spoke wheels were fitted with two 240 mm brake discs and two-piston calipers on the front and a 240 mm brake disc on the rear, delivering optimum braking performance.
The bike's suspension system comprised a 47 mm upside-down Showa adjustable fork on the front and an adjustable Pro-Link Showa shock absorber on the rear, delivering excellent suspension performance and handling.
The 2014 Honda CRF250X had installed a 249cc four-stroke liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine managed by a 37 mm flat-side carburetor with a Throttle Position Sensor (TPS).
