The 1990 MY Gilera Crono 125 is an entry-level sportbike, and has, at its heart, a liquid-cooled, two-stroke, 124cc, single cylinder powerhouse paired to a six-speed manual transmission with a chain final drive, and can reach a maximum power output of 30 horsepower and 18 Nm of torque.

Standard fittings include a full-fairing with a windscreen, a square headlight, a 40mm upside-down telescopic front fork coupled to a vertical monoshock in the rear, front and rear disc brakes, die-cast aluminium wheels, a single seat with lumbar support, analogue instrumentation dials, and a three-tone paint scheme.
