BETA Evo 200 (2012-2013) Specs, Performance & Photos

The Beta Evo and Evo 4T were trial motorcycles manufactured by Beta Motor since 2009 to replace the Beta REV. They were presented at the 2008 EICMA Show and intended to compete in the world trials.

The range comprised several models with different displacements, such as an 80cc model with a Junior version with smaller chassis for young riders, 125cc, 200cc, 250cc, 190cc, and 300cc.

In 2012, the Italian maker released the Beta Evo 200, a trial motorcycle similar in design to other models but with a 200cc displacement engine.

The bike had an aluminum beam frame with a built-in fuel tank that housed the suspension system comprised of a 38 mm Paioli telescopic fork handling the front end and an adjustable shock absorber controlling the rear end.

The braking performance was achieved by a single 185 mm brake rotor mounted on the front wheel, clamped to a four-piston caliper, and a single 160 mm brake disc with a dual-piston caliper on the rear, providing optimum stopping power.

As for power, the 2012 Beta Evo 200 had its heartbeat set by a 194cc two-stroke liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine fed by a 26 mm Mikuni carburetor. Its power was handled by a six-speed transmission and sent to the rear end through a final chain drive.
