In 2012, Beta Motor released the Beta Evo 125, a trial motorcycle with a larger displacement engine than the 80 Jr and Sr models. It was created for those riders looking to bring joy in their life by doing trials with a specifically designed motorcycle. It was available at an MSRP of $6,899.

The last revision was made in 2011, with changes such as a higher and forward-mounted engine, a revised gearbox, a lower handlebar, a 500 grams lighter rear rim, a revised rear shock, more ergonomic brake and clutch levers, and larger fairing-fixing screws.

Visually, the motorcycle had wire-spoke wheels with off-road tires, an engine plate, a single exhaust system with a silencer mounted under the rear fender, and a dual-sided swingarm.

The bike was built around an aluminum beam frame with a built-in fuel tank. It housed the suspension system, which comprised a 38 mm Paioli telescopic fork mounted on the front and an adjustable shock absorber mounted on the rear, providing optimum handling capabilities.

As for the braking performance, the bike's wire-spoke wheels were fitted with a 185 mm brake rotor on the front and a 160 mm brake rotor on the rear. Both discs were tied to hydraulic calipers, offering excellent braking performance.

In the power department, the 2012 Beta Evo 125 had installed a 124cc two-stroke liquid-cooled engine fed by a 21 mm carburetor. The engine was assisted by a six-speed transmission and sent the power to the rear via a final chain drive.
