BENELLI Tre-K 1130 Amazonas (2014-2015) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2014, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer released the Benelli Tre-K 1130 Amazonas, a motorcycle created especially for adventurous riders, featuring a comfortable riding position, sleek bodywork, and a capable enough engine to handle almost anything.

The 2014 model was equipped with standard features, like a dual headlight system integrated into a small cowl, a medium-sized windscreen, a one-piece, two-up seat with a passenger grab handle, a three-into-one exhaust system with a silencer mounted under the seat, and wire-spoke wheels.

The bike's suspension system comprised a 50 mm inverted Marzocchi telescopic fork on the front with 180 mm of travel and an adjustable shock absorber on the rear with 180 mm of travel, offering excellent suspension performance and handling capabilities.

It was kept on the safe side by two 320 mm brake discs mounted on the front wheel and a 220 mm brake rotor mounted on the rear wheel. The front ones were squeezed by four-piston calipers, and the rear by a dual-piston caliper.

As for power, the 2014 Benelli Tre-K 1130 Amazonas had its heartbeat set by a 1,130cc four-stroke three-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, boasting 123 hp with maximum strength at 9,000 rpm and 115 Nm (85 lb-ft) torque at 6,250 rpm.

The engine worked in tandem with a six-speed transmission controlled by a wet multi-disc clutch that sent the power to the rear end via a final chain drive. The bike reached a top speed of 224 kph (139 mph).
