BENELLI Tre 900RS Tornado (2004-2005) Specs, Performance & Photos

The Benelli Tornado Tre 900 was a sports motorcycle manufactured by Benelli in Presaro, Italy, from 2002 to 2014. The last model of the range was designated as the Tornado Tre 903.

In 2004, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer released the Benelli Tre 900RS Tornado, a race-inspired super-sports motorcycle designed and tested to fit the tastes of those riders searching for a powerful, efficient track machine with the best components on the market.

In the aesthetic department, the bike had standard fittings, like a full fairing, a vertical headlight, two lateral air intakes, a small windscreen, a two-piece dual seat with an optional passenger cover, a tree-into-one exhaust system with a silencer mounted on the right-hand side, and 17-inch five-spoke aluminum alloy wheels.

The motorcycle was built around a steel and aluminum frame with an adjustable inverted Marzocchi telescopic fork mounted on the front and an adjustable shock absorber mounted on the rear, providing excellent suspension performance and handling capabilities.

The braking performance was crafted by two 320 mm discs bolted to the front wheel and a 240 mm disc mounted on the rear wheel. The front rotors were clamped to four-piston calipers, as well as the rear one.

Regarding power, the 2004 Benelli Tre 900RS Tornado had its heartbeat set by an 898cc four-stroke liquid-cooled three-cylinder engine, boasting 143 hp with a peak at 11,500 rpm and 100 Nm (74 lb-ft) torque at 8,500 rpm.
